Lake Red Rock is just two miles down the road. Red Rock boasts Iowa's largest lake and Iowa's largest expanse of public land with over 50,000 acres of lake, woodlands, cliffs, and beaches. The recreation area offers several camp sites to choose from and has seven cabins that are rented out year-round. In addition to camping, Red Rock, which is managed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, has areas designed for biking, boating, hiking and more.
Visit Knoxville, Iowa, just 11 miles from the farm. The birthplace of the Iowa Flag, Knoxville is also known as the Sprint Car Capital of the World.
